Some liken the NFL draft to Christmas morning for fans. This helps generate excitement and objectify human beings. Two birds, one stone, if you ask me.

Whereas before the draft, many local defensive playmakers were mocked to your Seattle Seahawks, after the draft, they all ended up un-local. Kevin King is a Packer, never to be spoken again except when Doug Baldwin roasts him like a marshmallow Week 1 in Green Bay. Budda Baker committed the Cardinal sin of letting Arizona draft him. Adoree Jackson went to the Titans, your new AFC ….
